Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art

Arkansas legislators last night had the opportunity to tour Crystal Bridges. Just seventeen days away from its opening on November 11, there remains considerable work to be done, but the museum, its campus, and its collection are amazing. I can’t wait to return on November 9 for another preview.

Save or Delete Jungle Book by Banksy is one of the original artworks up for sale in Bonham’s Urban Art showcase. The poster was created for Greenpeace’s 2001 Save or Delete campaign to draw public awareness to global deforestation and illegal trade in logging. Because of copyright issues, the image was never circulated.
The Jungle Book happens to be one of my favorite movies from childhood, and deforestation is a most serious concern of my adulthood.
